COMEG company was founded in 1994 after the merging of two societies : Paillot-Mecallier society – long-time manufacturer for the SNCF ( french national railway company ) – and specialized in the railway sector for half a century, and Guillaumin society, public lighting designer and manufacturer since 1985.
Thanks to its unique expertise, COMEG society has developped a close partnership french and european railway networks : we have created items for trains such as Regiolis, MI06, TTNG, TGV, TGV Lyria, Thalys…

Since the liberalization of the european railway system, COMEG has become the main manufacturer for crocodiles ( train protection system ), a safety device that has become mandatory on all trains on french railways.
Although we specialize in railway products, we can also produce a wide range of general engineering items ( for agriculture, metallic supplies, patterns and monitoring tools ) in small, medium and large quantities.
